Default Locking did shifting

So I have a few of these. I have one 04 which had a sticky shifter going hi to low. I finally tried it in reverse and she popped in although kinda stiff. Absolutely no luck getting the shifter to pop left into the locking position. Thought maybe just grease up the cable with white lithium

Anybody got some experience with this?

Check the fluid level and age inside your transfer case.

Sounds like your linkage is rusty, soak it.
