looking at a 2000 Discovery

so found a 1999 white d2 with 138k miles and head gaskets replaced just 3 months ago. second owner and is a 9 out of 10 for the interior and exterior. only problem is there are two keys, one for the door and one for the ignition. there asking $3900, and kinda flexible on the price. so with that one problem, what price should i counter offer with? if the cars as clean as they say it is, should i just buy it anyways or walk away if they only drop the price by $50 or $100?
is the mix match ignition/key stuff very hard or super expensive to swap back to a single key setup? i did call land rover and it was $1200 for a new kit ( 2 keys, one ignition and on drive side door lock)
or just stick with the two keys?

well picked up the white 99 d2 with the two key setup anyways today. seem to drive really well and made the 5 hour trip home so that was re assuring anyways. lol
sadly, thinking all was well, got home and at another glance, looks like the rear spare was hit and bent the door. im thinking i may be able to take the door card out and hit the door from behind and maybe the dent will pop out? idk. or i guess look for another door to put on. or just leave it be as the door and everything still works fine.
also looks like the T hose coming off the thermostat is ballooned. guy said its been like that sins hes owned it. so looks like i should get a new radiator hose kit and thermostat.
also noticed it has the dual reservoir for the power steering and the other anti roll thing. do those anti roll's fail a lot? or is mine possibly still working?

Advance Auto sells the correct 21inch wiper blade replacements, but you must have all your OEM clips still or simply buy some genuine D1 arms and slap on some 21inch blades found anywhere and call it a day.
Key wise you can remove the ignition switch, and re-pin it so basically any LR will work. There is a write-up about it either on here or Discoweb. That'll take care of the two keys.

These are excellent blades under 10 bucks from RockAuto. Have had on my D2 about three months and some of best ever used on any vehicle, 50+ years.
More Information for VALEO 800214
These may be in stock at Advance or others at 2 times the cost.
More Information for TRICO 2111
Many folks B&M about lack of local availability of D2 blades and change over to D1 arms. IMO there are better thing to be spending your maintenance time and money on.
MY two cents.

the 20" blades im going to return to Walmart, they look like they will hit the rubber around the windshield at the top. i think ill just stick with the 18" that i have read are the OEM. well i have no idea if i have the OEM plastic clips or not. as the drive side has some sort of spoil on it and the passenger side does not.
how about the Good Year blades?

I prefer the look of the D2 arms to the D1 arms, but functionality wise D1 arms/blades win. Can't exactly place an order for Rock Auto on the side of the road when you could possibly need one (here in TX you barely use your wipers & when you do, they're normally glued to the windshield of fly to pieces on the first wipe...).
I think I paid 20.00 per blade at Advance Auto for the D2 blades, but that's cheaper than the LR dealership. Even if I stored spares in the back the heat would eventually kill em....
D2 blades are 21inches btw
