If you go to NAPA and ask for a Block tester.
What it does is you pour this blue fluid into it,
then affix a one way rubber bulb to the other end,
stick the inlet into the coolant bottle,
Then with the level of the coolant bottle below half,
run the engine, once the coolant starts to heat up begin squeezing the bellows.
This sucks the coolant vapors past the blue fluid,
if hydrocarbons are present the fluid will turn yellow,
you have to be careful not to suck the coolant into the tester.
I also found that by placing the tester onto the coolant bottle as the engine warms up if there are gases present they will be pushed through the tester and you can see the bubbles coming out , this is what happened when i went to look at the fake G4.
air was being passed through the fluid without even squeezing the bellows, and it was a greenish yellow, not the blue like when i started

It's a KALAHARI. If it's and '02 with black out hood and gray 16" wheels it's a with G4 stickers. G4's were only avail in '03-'04 if i'm not mistaken.
Check for the "Special Vehicles" badge on the rear gate as well as the ID plate riveted on the radiator shroud under the hood. It also should have the Saudi spec bumper, black mesh grille and special interior.

You might have it pegged as a Kalahari it did have a badge on the rear door with special vehicles.,G4 stickers on the top portion of the front fenders, they looked worn, Front Rover brush guard and rear light protectors in the bumper and the body lights and a RR ladder, plus what looked like factory black out hood.on the raised center section
And the seat surfaces dont look like any type of Disco interior that I have seen , thanks for your input

Yeah, they made the Kalahari in Gray, White and Yellow, all with the hood blackout. The seats are black with some special cloth in the center with Leather trim. The dash and interior should have had some olive & silver trim.
All those other accessories are what are on my Kalahari. They also came with Safari Guard rock sliders.
There's a couple Orange G4's for sale in the Seattle area if anyone is looking
