I may buy a wreck if the price is right for parts, motor.
But I have no idea how to tell the difference between a D1 and D2
by looking at them.
Can some one throw me a bone, and easy way to tell the difference '99 era.

DI has flush door handles, analog odometer, rotary ***** for the HVAC.

DII had curved door handles, LCD odometer, LCD HVAC panel.

 

I look at the tail lights. The D1 has low mounted tail lights and the D2 has high mounted tail lights. It's the most distinguishable difference for me. The front bumpers are also different with different headlight cleaners, but those can be changed out. The height of the taillights is something a person isn't going to change, no matter how much work or personalization a person does.
