Default Looking to buy this Disco ii

I’m new here and new to the Land Rover community. I’ve owned Jeeps etc but I have always been drawn to the land rovers. Well I have an opportunity to get a 2002 Disco 2 and want to get a feel for some thoughts. Here is the post : https://albuquerque.craigslist.org/c...868990364.html

says the 3 amigos situation is there but everything else is “good” has 201k miles.

Any info id really appreciate

Why does it have an 01’ on the windshield but it’s selling as a 02’?

Have the head gaskets been replaced? 3 amigos could be caused by a number of things so keep that in mind.

The vehicle is at a shop that specializes in rovers and other British autos. Apparently it was mis stickered but confirmed 2002

said engine “updated” and has no head gasket concern

at mileage that high i would be looking at the condition of the suspension bushings and all steering components as well as the engine.

The suspension is a QT3 life with all new bushings underneath.

$3500 seems affordable .. but I always wonder if there could be better out there

$2000 tops. That way you won’t punch yourself when the turd bomb drops one on your head and wallet. Has too many miles in my opinion.

EDIT: just saw the Bernie for President sticker on the bumper. Tell the seller you will pay half the asking price and then half of that price and not a cent more. If he says no hang up and keep looking.

awesome thank you! I’d pay the extra $1500 if it had the Trump decal, but here we are. Lol. Jokes aside. I want a dang Disco II

Neither front or rear bumper is cracked? Whaaaaat? Super clean one. If it were mine I would want $3500. Wonder if it has CDL?
