Default looking to buy a discovery anything i should know?

Ive been looking for a vehicle I can take camping and to the ends of the earth but still have luxury, I keep coming back to the LR discovery. Anything I should know about these models? Certain year I should be looking for? Just any info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Beyond a doubt get a 2004 Disco 2 if you can. I have a 1997 Disco 1 which has been a pretty good vehicle but the 04 has a CDL which earlier disco 2's did not have, 4.6 L engine, and the best build quality of all the Discos. Be prepared for higher maintenance costs, more maintenance time, and more electronic glitches than say a 4-Runner however. If you can do your own maintenance or at least some of it that would help. Fun trucks and good off road with lots of fairly expensive off road mods you can do if you want.

My bad....even though I quoted it, I was still thinking Disco. Considering the part of the forum we are in, I'm sure you understand the confusion.
