Default Looking for connectors to switch tray.

I have been looking on roverparts.com, but can't find the plastic part that would be at the end of the wires, that clicks into the (light) switch. Not sure how to explain it any better...

I have a switch tray instead of the ash tray where the buttons for the compressor and lockers are. The wires were just kind of hanging in the switches but came undone. The PO didn't do a very nice install... So I pulled out the fog light switch and saw that the wires go into a connector that snaps onto the switch. That is the part I am trying to find. Anybody know the part#? Or have a link to where I can find it?

Secondly, the IPF lights have 2 standard IPF switches. They work well, but I would like to have OEM switches on the dash. Even though I would n't know why not to do this, I wonder if anyone has taken them apart and rewired them into some spare light switches (I have a few extra that I bought over time)? I don't want to cut the wire to find out it is not a good idea to then have to splice it back together.

Cheers!

You maybe able to find the plugs at the stealer but I'm sure they'd want ridiculous money for them. I've got a switch tray too for my D1 that I'm planning to use for switches for accesories and want it to have a factory look. You need to find someone that is parting out a Disco II that will let you cut off the suitable plugs from the harness. That is what I'm planning on doing. I've done this before on a Honda. I just went to a junk yard and cut off the plugs I needed and bought a few other larger items and they didn't charge for the plugs. You may have to hunt around the car to find the matching plug and make sure it has all the metal pins in to match the switches you're installing. You may need a test meter when you get home so you can figure out the pin out so you can control what your want to control correctly. Oh when you cut it off make sure you leave a good few inches of wire to splice onto, I personally like to solder and heatshrink mine for a good solid clean looking connection. Check Craigslist in your local area for someone with a wrecked DII in their back yard. Or try the junkyard if you're close to one with Land Rovers in.

Go to a junk yard and get the plugs for the switches. I installed my Hella driving lights on a factory switch and used the plug from one of the radio control switches in my D1. Since I have an aftermarket radio the factory controls were useless so I cut the wires going to them.
