I need a front wheel bearing replaced. Land Rover quoted $1500!


Anyone know of a knowledgeable, reasonable LR mechanic within about 20 miles of Trenton, NJ?

Do you have an Enterprise Rent a Car near you? Maybe I can drop my truck off on Thursday morning before work, and pick it up Monday if that would work? (or drop off/pick up same day - Thursday or Monday - if that's enough time...)


As long as I can set up a rental for a decent amount, I'd be open to it if you are.


Any ballpark figure on what a wheel bearing would run me?

so me and my neighbor buddy/ heavy equipment mechanic guy were putting in a new radiator this weekend. after the umpteenth time dropping some darned phillips screw attachment 'cuz I didn't have the correct holder, my buddy turns to me and says "I can guess what you're going to ask the wife for for Christmas" and my reply was "what, a mechanic!?" he was thinking something from snap-on...
