Looking to by my first Disco need advice
Ok, i have been looking for a good disco for a few months now and have found one i think is a good deal. I am fairly mechanically oriented and do all my own work on my vehicle so i am not affraid of a project. I found a 2004 Disco SE7 140K for $9000. Is this a good deal? Having done research on this forum i know what to look for, but that seems like a lot of miles for that price. Any help would be great
Thats a little high with that kind for mileage. 2004's are good, but not that good.
Don't pay more that 7K for it. Blue book for 2004's over 140 is around 6K. Bring a print out of the blue book price when you go in to negotiate.

Depending on your area that seems over priced to me too.
Call your bank and see what the loan amount on that truck with those miles is.
Remind the guy that gas is $3 per gallon too, hard to sell a 14mpg premium gas drinking SUV in this economy.
