Default Looking for shortblock

Looking for an assembled shortblock or longblock if it's a good enough price for my 2002 disco 2 (4.0L). I warped the block but my head was salvageable so really just need a shortblock. I don't mind paying for shipping either.

Turner Engineering. I have a short Block with the Kent H180 Cam. Love it.

Make sure you use wuality gaskets for reassembly. Turner recommmends Elring, I don’t think you go wrong th those, Fel Pro, Comerica or other name brand gaskets. Also, consider Studs, and avoid the cheap alllmakes and Britpart sets.

I don't have secondary air injection. That wouldn't make a different for the shortblock right? That'll bolt right up to my . 4.0L head?

Just plug those brass plugs with nickles and run that motor the way it is. That is a better quality motor than what came in the D2. I would just change the water pump and slap it in.

That motor has been for sale for about 9 months. I bet he would take half of what he is asking.

Oh wow that would be awesome. I'm still learning a lot about my D2 even though I've owned it for 6 years I've never had an issue till now.

That engine will hook right up to my stock harness and ecu, bolt it right up would just a recommended water pump change out?

Short block will bolt right up no problem.

Question is, should you take it apart and do the HGs while the motor is out of the car for preventative measures
