Looking for a Truck I'm in michigan ** Bought one***
Well if you read my last post in DI vs DII i thought I'd found my truck,but just can't bring myself to buy it, with it being a 03 with some problems..
So does anybody on here have or know of a DI or DII modified or stock near Michigan for sale???? Looking to send about 5,000 for it..
If not near might pay for shopping or drive to get it!!!

how I know the first to reply would be my fellow Michigander Spike!!!!!! thanx for the link But I'm looking for I truck that is owned by a LR enthusiast not just some joe blow.. Have found tons of DI & II and have all been misused and over priced with the seller knowing nothing about them. So now I turning to the LR community for help in locating a nice DI or II.

I have a 2000 LR Disco 2 for sale in Traverse City, Mi. Right now I am fighting with a cooling issue, I would not sell until I get it resolved. Very nice Disco from California with a ton of new parts. This is not my first or even the last LR I will own. I do not sell junk or vehicles that need a bunch of work, my wife wants something different so I need to listen to the boss and do what she says, haha.

I have a 2001 DII with 149K on it.
Did the head gaskets at around 110K.
New radiator a couple years ago
2" lift with spring retainers
Extended brake hoses
Rovertyme front bumper with a Ramsey 9500 lb winch (bumper needs paint)
Nice SD roof rack with flooring and 4 Hella 770FF lights up front and a light in the rear.
04 CDL shifter
Qt diff guards front and rear
Qt Heavy duty drag link and track bar
ABS amigo
No lights everything works as it should
Could use a new headliner

well after all this time there a 2000 DII sitting in the drive!!!!!!! Thank-you to all the people that helped me along the way.. here's how it came to be Had it all lined up to by backina88 truck ( see post above ) last weekend but the sale of my truck was delayed till this weekend and as luck would have it BackinA88 is out of town.. So this left me truck less and need one by Monday morning. so I started reviewing all the trucks for sale around me and found a long shot. It was a 2000 DII gray on tan with 83,000 miles new tires, SD roof rack, new front, drive shaft and gearbox (we all know why those to are new) that they wanted 7900 for. well the long and short of it is that it's sitting in my drive and I only payed 5200 for it!! Everything works, only has one sun roof, and the three Amigos visit me once and awhile. All and all I think good buy.. will post more pic later
