We currently have a Freelander and the lease is coming up. We're considering buying a certified Disco II because the FL just isn't large enough.

Anyway, I'm looking at anywhere from 2001 to 2004. I've found dealers with 2004s with less than 10k and prices below $30k (SE with most options). Is there anything I should be aware of in this range of years? In other words, is there anything which seems to be a major problem during these years? Any year in particular better than others?

I'm also considering an older RR instead. We're looking to spend between $20k and $30k and the extra room in the RR would be useful since we're thinking of having a second child (that's why the FL is too small). I'll post in the RR section and ask my questions there.

Just starting to look so I'm not terribly familiar with the Disco or the RR.
