What would a fair price be for a used 4,6 be with new oil pump , new water pump, and new head gaskets/bolts .....Im thinking $1500 to $2000 ?

I paid $1000 two years ago. New everything but no heads.

The guy selling it said throw him a number....It has the heads and new head gaskets and bolts.....Im going to offer $1500 with a 60 day warranty.

What do you know about the engine? Miles? Was the block checked prior to the hg’s?

Ill get the answers to all those....he offered to pin the sleeves of even do top hats but that out of my price range.

I hope I never have to go this way of getting a new engine. If mine ever goes it’s getting parked until I get money to buy a new block

I am headed to Colorado in 2 weeks. If it's still there I'm gonna grab it. Don't really need it but am not gonna pass it up for that price. If the OP wants it you got 2 weeks to beat me to it. No hard feelings.
