It will throw the codes within 10 minutes of restarting the engine, after the codes are cleared.

I still have to think you have a connection problem.
Who's o2 sensors did you use?

Honestly Dusty, I took the part number from Atlantic Britishs website and ebayed them. I'm a little strapped for cash with the holidays like lots of other people.

They installed with little issue. plugs are tight and I even used some dielectric grease in them. Land Rover mechanic friend of mine told me of an issue with the splice where the wires for the 2 02s meed in the harness. im gonna check that out during the HG replacement.

So... I've just received a lovely box of Rover parts.

Headgaskets are on for the weekend after next. It sucks not being able to drive my Rover.

Nope. Still trying to figure it out. Rover has been down again for ANOTHER HG replacement because I was stupid and cut corners.

Chubbs878... if you are looking for the conclusion to a coolant leak at the back of the engine, for me, at the time of this thread, was a combination of failed valley pan and headgaskets.
