Default Lookup weather in germany right now.... disco handled a blizzard today 400 km

Drover to belgium today in the Disco.... seriously 350 km of a 400 km trip was in white out blizzard with the ground literally growing under my tires..... I didnt so much drive on the road as above it.... It was pretty much just me and the Semi;s moving at a decent clip.... Disco handled it like a freaking champ ... i barely even lost any time .... (keep in mind this is on the autobahn) Just kept telling myself ... yeah buddy this is what a land rover is made for.... i love it when there are those moments in life that justify the selfish and impracticable purchases we make... though truthfully if you check out the news about the german weather this last month you will see that my purchase has been justified almost every day .... its insane here right now... but even so today was ridiculous.... and not so much as a hitch.... my biggest issue was skipping the ****ty songs on my ipod...

I wish. The wifey spent the whole trip saying she was pissed she didnt bring the cam. Admittadly we were going up there to a furniture store where she wants some stuff. Nothing too macho about that trip. But like I said, by the end of it I was validated, oh and it was big heavy dark manly wood furniture. I'm just sayin'

You bring great memories; I have driven this route from Karlsruhe to Liege and on to Bruxelles on the A6, A1 and the A3 but not in a land Rover. My ride was a S-class 320 CDI common rail diesel.

Is your DII a diesel?

it was fun actually that blizzard here. i was even so crazy to go to woods and almost stuck again :-D but was fun. in worst "ice under snow" street (slightly uphill) all cars was moving only down and i actually even drove over some stuffed snow on the side to go around all of them
they gave pretty weird faces to a girl in skirt :-D
