Default Lord of the fly’s

Hi fellows
Am new to this forum but bin long time with LR’s. Series II, series III ’72 LWB diesel, Def 110 TD5 and my proud and pain series III SWB re blithe from ground up with from box ’95 2,5l. I can complain it was fun and I learn a lot. Eventually I sold last one (hybrid) and proems to my self (and my wife) never ever to go LR path agene. For couple of days now, Devil knocking on my door, offering me a to be garage monkey again. Hard to resets. Tow bad boys are in the offering ’97 (180k km) and ’99 (140 k Km) disco 4.0 autotrans in excellent shape. I never fancy discos and certainly automatics, 4.0 is story for it self. For a brief moment I tooth that am safe! But bug started to dig thro my brain. So Honorable Gentlemen help me fight my LR fiver or help me join you on well-known path. My English is not perfect sorry!

Dependant de la différence de prix, j'opterais pour le 1999.

Whoops, sorry guys.....I said that depending on the price difference, I'd go for the 99.

Thanks; That was my conclusion also, only that auto transition is bordering me, never fancy them especially not on LR. Do I need to know anything on V8 4.0? Am familiar with 3,5 old RR I engine but never had opportunity to explore 4.0 and get to learn up’s and down’s but as with all LR engine is always smallest trouble (unless it is “possessed”). If that were TD5 with manual gearbox I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute. But “C’est la Vie”(such is life)
