Default Los Angeles Mechanic - P0101/ P0505

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of registering my newly purchased Disco 2 here in CA and it is throwing a p0101 code with a p0505. Thanks to CA smog that means I need to get that sorted before they'll give me proper plates. I think I can probably sort these out but I'd like to know if anyone has mechanic recommendations in LA., preferably West LA. I'm prepping for a trip and would like to have this thing gone over before I set sail. It appears to be in great working shape and I have a stack of receipts that show routine maintenance has been kept up to date but better safe than sorry, right?

West LA - Try Armando's European or Mitchell's British. British Car Service is a bit further and maybe more expensive. Armando is good.

I'll have to try one of those next time, I have an apt in the morning at 26th St Autocenter. They seemed to have good reviews from disco/range rover owners.

Well, it seems like nothing is easy in life. The guy's at 26th are having a time figuring out what's causing the codes to be thrown. Apparently, the MAF is reading somewhere around 8 volts which is double what it should normally read at? They tried swapping in a new MAF for sanities sake but there was no change. We've got an ICV coming in tomorrow to see if the current one is stuck open but I don't think that will have any effect on the p0505. Any ideas?
