Default Loud whining noise on clod start

The truck lets out a loud whine on cold start, usually just the first of the day.
Any thoughts?

Generally steering pump or ACE pump if applicable, try to narrow down the location of the noise.

Power steering. The gaskets by the high pressure line get hard when cold. Mine does it as well.

Can also use long stick or screwdriver to hold against pump when cranked an hear it even better. But you may find it is the SAI electric pump, on first cold start of the day.
