Default Low coolant and wet carpet

So I noticed that my coolant was low and filled it on up. After an eight hour trail session on some sweet rocks, never running hot, I got to the house and let the engine cool. I let it cool all night and in the morning noticed that the coolant was low again. I noticed that the carpet on the passenger side floor was damp when I was vacuuming the dirt out. It looks like there is some dripping from under the dash. I know that on other vehicles that there is coolant lines running under there and that this kind of thing happens but I was wondering if it was because the truck was on a steep uphill and bouncing around all day or if I have a leak under the dash. If anyone has had this problem I am looking to see what the solution is and if its feasible to fix this myself or is it a monster project?

2000 Disco II I got used with 140K currently has 144K

There is a chance its dog pee but its still wet after a day

If it's coolant, you need a heater core. If it's water, you need to clean your AC drains.

Hope it's water.

Took the rubber line off the thing by the heater core and water went everywhere, I will follow that rubber line till i find the blockage. Any idea where the Antifreeze might be going? The engine isn't getting hot or anything.

I'm not sure what line you're talking about. But if it was water and not coolant, and you can't find any external coolant leak, you have an internal coolant leak.

I'd suggest getting your hands on a cooling system pressure tester so you can pressurize the system and see if you can find any external leaks. If you can't, then you can start pulling plugs to figure out which cylinder is filling up with coolant.

Thanks, pulling the plugs next. Cleaned out the A/C drains and they were clogged up so that was the water in the cab. If you all want pictures of the operation let me know.

You need to pay attention, you have a failed heater core, it needs to be replaced "TODAY" not next week or you can toast your engine.
