Default LR Accessory Fit instructions for Park Distance / PDC Kit for Disco (and Freelander?)

There's a LR genuine accessory Park Distance (PDC) kit STC50424AA that is shockingly still available for Disco II/Freelander-- I can't find fitting instructions for it on Disco II.

Anyone have them or a source. Most of my accessory fitting links only have the Freelander instructions, which aren't what I need!

Side note: Anyone installed this on a 99-02 (not 03-04)?

It's not in the 400 page PDF that I have for Discovery Accessory Fitting Instructions.

Best I found was an old post here: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-assist-75963/

Not OEM, but your path of least resistance and least cost will be installing a wireless rearview camera that syncs up to either a display or a replacement rearview mirror.

I agree on the rear view camera, put two on my kids cars with their touchscreen radios, work great.

That said, I have worked on four trucks that have this system. There is a silence button on the instrument binnacle, a sounder module in the cargo space, a wire harness, and four sensors that plug in to the bezels that go in the bumper. Works well like everything else. Would not be surprised to find out the sensors are the same as some other euro vehicle, doubt the harness or sounder are but you never know.

It comes one when you go in reverse, one beep. My guess it is powered off the reverse lights but I have not looked.

You can drill the rear bumper cover pretty easy to put the bezels in.

I have thought about duplicating the system in the front, but when to turn it on? Manual switch?

Update: I bought a kit (from UK, far less expensive than previously researched). Installed it and works brilliantly (the speaker might be a bit louder, I'm used to newer vehicles that mute the stereo etc when the PDC goes off).

I'll scan and post the instructions here soon. It is basically a bunch of stock off the shelf mid to late 90's BMW 3/5 series parts bin components, and what looks like a custom Land Rover wiring harness or two.
