LR Complimentary Service Clinic good or bad?
I recieved something from the local Land Rover dealer. It is a multi-point vehicle inspection from a factory trained tech, lol. They even wash the truck for you. Is this thing a waste of time or would it be worth the trip just to see what they say? I am supposed to be there in a few hours so do you guys think that it is worth it?

Well I went to the dealer and it turned out pretty good. They did a complete inspection and pinpointed a few things that I didn't even know about. They gave me three FREE center caps that I was missing. They even gave a little gift bag with a mug, pen, lotion, and golf *****. ALL FOR FREE. But at the end they showed me a invoice for the parts required to make it perfect and it came out to 1650 without labor. Of course I will not be taking it there to get worked on. I will just take use this list as things to look forward to doing myself. I would recommend going if you receive a postcard.

They actually do a pretty good job on the car wash, at least the few times I've been to the dealer. That being said, the showrooms I've been in are pretty slow so I'm sure they are trying to get folks in. When the average show room vehicle has a $80,000 price tag in these financial times the LR salesman must feel like the Maytag repairman in those old ads

It took about an hour for them to finish everything. While I was waiting I looked around the place. They have a Land Rover dealer next to a Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, and Rolls Royce dealer. Needless to say I felt a little out of place when the rental car was worth more than my beast. The rock track that they have looked pretty scary. I was wondering if anyone with a lift has ever done it. I was thinking about it but the 45 degees sideway rocks made me think that I could roll it. The other part of the track looked manageable.

Maybe I need to take it in for a inspection and then I will be on their list?
