@briancbev It really depends on how far out the bumper is and how bad your on vehicle mounts are. Mine is far closer than the one pictured but still off, I had it loosened up to re check and it is the extended section in the center that fits under the hitch creates the problems. Without that section you could fix any mounting issues easily. But that section has to be perfect and as you noted it is not.

 

The issue is that if you match the angle on the side of the bumper with the natural line on the rear fender, then the top of the bumper would be slanted down, instead of flat. The bumpers are defective.
