Lug nuts

Last one I had come apart was due to rust swelling the cap.

I haven’t jacked up a LR nut in my life, but it’s the idiots at tire shops that sometimes even after I beg to loosen them by hand or I provide the darn socket that don’t pay attention and ruin my lugnuts!!!! Last time I paid $1300.00 for tires & when I got home I noticed a lug nut was messed up, upon closer inspection one entire side was messed up. I went back & complained!! They bought replacement lug nuts from a local dealership in Houston & they never made that mistake again. However the solid lug nuts completely eliminate the idiot factor for the most part.

Yeah that happened to Me Too! We took it in the river and few weeks later a change the tires and I ruined a bunch of look nuts

Lucky for me I was pulling them to replace the with solid steel lug nuts. So no big deal

I still haven't gotten a response form the seller but I did purchase a set of solid lug nuts from West Coast Wheel Accessories, W6014RL.

Those look to be probably the same as the solids that I have. They are plated, so they will start to rust a bit if you damage the coating. For my money they're worth it to not have to deal with those silly caps any more.
