My new MAF* did not come with a new O ring. Can I reuse my old O ring?

* I got it at Parts Online (called them at 800 814 8279) and received it within 24 hours for 143 bucks, no shipping and no tax, genuine Bosch BTW.

 

The RAVE says to for some reason, although my old one looked okay. You can get one at the dealer for a couple of bucks, so I guess I would for piece of mind.

 

I saw that in the Rave too. It seems to me as long as the ring is not deformed from previous use it should be okay......

 

Just spray clean it with silicone lube to remove any dirt and re-install.
