What makes you think your MAF is out? The one's for the D1's are pretty sturdy, and they will run you some big bucks new.

I think Tony only carries MAFs for D2's. I have checked a little, and this is what I found:

I would check E-bay...I got one off a 97 for $33. It owrks and I just wanted a spare..

96 Disco, 124,000.......I've replaced two front oxygen sensors, new plugs, new 9mm Magnecor wires, Seafoam, etc.I'm wondering what else would cause the car to shake and misfire around 50 to 60. Car starts fine, idles fine but misfires when approaching 50 yo 60. Thanks, Frank

Are you getting any codes? What RPM is it at? does it still do it if you are in 3rd gear?

Get a can of BG44K and throw in the tank the next time you are going to be on the highway for a bit. Could have a clogged/leaky injector....Also, I would throw 2 new O2 sensors on the rear as well. They work best when replaced as a set...

I did put Seaform in the tank (after the induction cleaning) didn't help. Perhaps the BG44 is better.....it certainly cost lots more. The car operates normally up to about 50 or 60 at the normal rpms. Perhaps I should change the other two oxygen sensors. The codes identified the front sensors.

Get the CEL reset, replace the other 2 sensors and see how it drives. You may have to go to the dealer or someone that can reset your ECu for the new sensors. It will continue to run rich until it recognizes the new sensors.

If the CEL comes back on, write down the codes and post them back here. Autozone should reset the light for free.

You are throwing all the wrong parts at your truck.
Do you have any fault codes, if so what are they?
Send me your tele number and lets see if we can dig you out of this mess.
9 mm Magnecor, WHY?????????????????????????
