Question Main and Rod Bearing Choices/Sources?

Hello all, Great Forum!
I am in the process of replacing my rod and main bearings. (with engine in truck per the sticky) Long story how I got here but short version as follows...My truck started suffering with low oil pressure and ticking (sounds valve train related to me) when hot.

I searched the forum to gain as much info and followed the many great suggestions. I installed a Cyberdyne oil gauge then tried the large filter with Rotella 15/40 but was unable to improve oil pressure readings.
(17 idle cold, 35 @2000rpm cold, less then 7 idle hot, 23 @2000rpm hot)

Decided to change out oil pump gears and did find the outer ring cracked. Since I have the lower end open I decided to change rod and main bearings too. Going to go with standard dimension bearings. AB has both sets for about $80 bucks. RovahFarm has them for about $35 bucks. Anyone have any cons for going with the less expensive ones? Both are listed as STC4299 (main) and STC1426 (rod) Thanks in advance for any insights... Oh and btw do I need to change out the Dowty Washers on the side bolts?
