Default Major headway today on Mike's list!

I have done the seafoam, the transfer case fluid, both differentials and bled the brakes today. Not bad for about 4 hours of dinking around. She sure is smoother now!

All I have left now is to do the transmission fluid. I am going to order the filter kit first and then do it. I was really impressed with how much the Seafoam really seemed to make it purr. It never ran rough--but now it is just smoother than I thought it could be.

Just out of curiosity how much seafoam did you put in and are you going to change the spark plugs after using the seafoam.

I did one can through the vacuum tube, one through the gas tank. My plugs are good and it is running smoother now just after sea-foaming. (It wasn't stumbling or rough or anything--but it is better now.)
I followed the directions here. https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=33554
Very easy. I ate lunch while waiting the 30 minutes--this was the last thing I did after working on it all day and driving it around afterwords was a good treat for a job well done.

Instead of eating lunch, you should have cleaned out the t/body and idle control solenoid first, this will greatly enhance your throttle response as well as your idle.

I just cleaned it a little while back when I did the throttle body gasket, the second time. I pulled it off and got all of the varnish off. She is clean as a whistle up there. Besides lunch was really good, have you had a Michigan honeycrisp apple?

Yep, right down the street from you. Moekler's orchard. http://www.moelkerorchards.com/
It looks like their site makes it so all of you can get a Michigan Honeycrisp. They have to be the most perfect food!
