I'm looking to buy a snorkel new or used, I don't like the ones that bolt outside the fender. I want a mantec or simular. Dose anyone make this style other than mantec, either a big company or an individual that makes them in their garage. If not who sells the mantec ones the cheapest?

 

Southdown makes one. I dont think either one is cheap. I have the Mantec on mine. The Southdown one eliminates the rubber piece between the main tube and the metal portion that bolts to the airbox outlet.

 

The Southdown snorkel will be your cheapest option and the best for sealing the airbox

Hey Justin, that snorkel doesn't show up on the DII page. You have to click on snorkels category which oly shows one of to get to it.

Has anyone ever had issues with the Southdown style in heavy rain? I've seen it mentioned before, but I didn't know if there were actually any cases.
