Many happy returns of the day to Land Rover!
As Land Rover celebrates it's 60th birthday I've seen some really good ads in magazines and newspapers. There wasa full page ad in the Wall St Journal and the NY Times for Land Rover's 60th. The copy reads in part:
We've been submerged, frozen in ice, caked in mud, shot at, lost in the desert, run on banana oil, abused by royalty and rock stars, dropped from airplanes, driven to the ends of the earth and somehow, we still managed to make it to our 60th birthday.
It is accompanied by 60 really great photos of everything from Series Ones to current models. I love the one with 2-3 Chetah's on the hood and top!
