Not the electrical connection, but the mechanical nipple that you may, or more likely, may not have. Feel on top of the front output case where the front driveshaft meets the t-case.

No mechanical nipple or switch on top of xfer case.
Had the 265/60/18 tires installed on the factory rims.
No clearance problems and looks great.
Gave a nice 1-1/2 to 2" lift.
Thanks for the help with the tire size.
Still want to complete driveshaft unjoint replacement and figure out front axle problem before driving too much.

You will want to replace the center ball. It explodes also, so new u-joints aren't going to do you all that much if the ball grenades.

And from what I hear, the centering ball is what makes the job a pain in the rear. u-joints are easy to change, but if you don't have a press, could luck with the centering ball.

I decided it was better to cough up the $300 ( ) for a GBR shaft, already rebuilt.

OK, many thanks to all for their input.
I read and reread the RAVE manual and after a little more searching on my part there IS a 10mm Lock/Unlock just like the pic previously submitted. I don't have a vehicle lift, so it's hard to see, but it appears the electrical connections may be disconnected. I am investigating further and will try to unlock the diff manually. I assume there is no harm in driving the vehicle unlocked???

Actually it's just the reverse, there is harm in driving it on pavement with the CDL locked, if you have both propshafts installed.

Ok, so now it's running (great) with the CDL unlocked.
I guess I have a 2002 disco II with a CDL...
I am in the middle of the u-joint replacement.
I have a question about the A/C, but I'm going to start a new thread for that.
Thank you all for your help and input.
