Oil & water = milk so any oil underneath that gets wet = milky drips

Transfer case rear output shaft seal leaks right into the E brake drum... If the drum is soaked chances are it also has had oil make its way into the drum. For safety reasons you might want to check for that too once you diagnose your TC leak.
