Default oil leak.... big suprise.

I recently developed an oil leak. I replaced the RH valve cover gasket and it seemed to slow for a day. I am now thinking that I just washed all of the residual oil off the engine, and it just made it's way back down. It looks like it is coming from the oil pressure sending unit. If these fail, can they leak? Just wondering before I get a new one...

Sounds like it is time to power scrub your engine, stay away from the ECU, and then see where you are actually leaking from. Might even try some engine oil dye.

YEah, I have narrowed it down to the RH front. It is coming from right around the oil switch. There is a light seepage from the valve cover, which was alot more defined before I changed the gasket. I thought it was dripping onto the switch. Now I am thinking it is the switch its' self. Tough to se back there, its right behind the a/c compressor. I have been scared that its the head gasket, but I will gladly change $30 parts first. It needs it anyway. I have almost 90K on the motor.
