Default minor body damage price quote

got into a minor fender bender with a car and my turn signal shattered, bumper got pushed in and the fiberglass in the front right cracked off, this goes around the turn signal and is needed to hold it in place. anyone know roughly how much it would be to fix all this? also would the dealer be able to do this?

a dealer can do anything you want and empty your wallet. take a picture of the damage sp we can see exactly whats going on. you can most likely get everything you need off of someone parting a D1 do the work yourself and save yourself some serious $$$$$.

is there damage to that quarter panel? i don't think tha damage looks all that bad. you will have to pull the bumper off to see what the mounts and the crush cans look like. the light should be an easy fix just find someone parting a D1. check with Brent @ Columbia Rovers. 503.227.3766 see what he has in stock he might have that light assembly for you. do you have the RAVE manual? that will explain how to take the bumper off. There is someone on the forum who actually just took off the bumper all together and welded some recovery points right onto the existing steel. another option would be to pull that bumper off and buy yourself a steel one so this won't happen again. check out www.lucky8llc.com he has a large variety of steel replacements from like $700 up.

well as for damage it is very minimal, i was going 5-10 mph and all that happened was what you see, no more damage, but the fiber glass that is now missiing is going to be hard to replace, i do not think that is a part you can buy and the bumper just needs to be pulled out an inch or so. how much do you think this would cost?

call brent @ columbia. see if he has that fiberglass piece (in the color you need) and the light assembly. if you do those two yourself the bumper is a piece of cake. i wouldnt bother bringing it to a shop its not like you need paint or major body panels replaced.

you wont find that body part on any parts site. you need to find someone parting out a D1. try using searchtempest.com to search all of craigslist.
