Default Mirror: I can't take it any longer.

I have a Disco I 1996 the mirror is a self dimming one and it
started to go bad about 2 years ago.
So I bit the bullet and ordered one, it will be in friday.

I don't know it this is a Disco I only thing or if its a Rover thing.

So sound off.
I wonder how long this one will last ?

I like my Disco but not the Mirror.

Mine was bad when I got it, it looks like it's got a puddle of good just behind the glass.

This is not a big deal with Rovers, in general, Rovers mirrors don't fail any more then other manufactures.

Yeah, mine went too. It dripped goo on the dash and it will seriously damage the plastic. I did get it replaced free though from the manufacturer and the new one had map lights that the old one did not. This was a couple of years ago, not bad considering the truck was about 8 years old - I mean the replacement - not the mirror failing.

I've had my 97' Disco about four years and the mirror was bad when I got it. I replaced it a couple of years ago and now the new one is going bad.
