Default misfires after coil, plugs and wire replacment

Ok, I was getting a random misfire code on my 03 Disco. I replaced the coils, plugs and wires. NOW i'm getting mis fire codes on cyl 1, 4, 6, 7 (which happen to be the coil on the drivers side) The car is running as if it was a 4cyl. Any thoughs on this? I"m stumped

Hows plugs and wires?
I would check your coil connections first, if they are good, I would call the coil supplier and get them to replace it for you under warranty.

plugs are new, replaced with bosch +4 and a set of magna core wires. connections seem ok, but I'm going to reset everything and see if there are any changes.

Thanks.

Let us know how it turns out and don't let anyone talk you into changing out the plugs cause that won't fix this.

You sure you plugged the new coil pack in solid? Got your plug wires routed correctly?

2003 Discovery

OK, so I am still having the same problem. The car seems even feels like a 4cyl. I swapped out the coil with the old one thinking that could be the issue...double checked the routing of the wires and checked to be sure they were all seated correctly. I"m STUCK. why am I getting a misfire on only the ones plugged into the coil on the drivers side? Like I said, I tried the old coil.

NOW, I do have a crack in the pipe for the SAI pump on the bend to the exhaust manifold. The rear half on the passengers side. COuld this have anything to do with the problem as this is a pressurized system?

I"m stumped and frustrated. errrrrrr.

THanks,
Steve

What fault codes do you have?
I would do a compression test to see if you have a valve/valve guide hanging up or burned valve.

The codes I'm getting are...

0161
0141
0135
0155
1590
0134
1300
0301
0304
0306
0307
0300

I realize that some of the codes are O2 sensors and one is my amigo's light.

the others are misfires....

Do you have 7mm or 8mm Magnacores. I read that you can have problems with Bosch+4's and 7MM wires together.
