Default Misfires after throttle body cleaning

Hello gents,

Cleaned the T-Body using a can of carb cleaner and when I started it up I got the following codes.

P1300
Catalyst damaging
Misfire Multiples

Misfires for cylinders 5-8

Freeze Frame Data:
Fuel Sys 1 OL
Fuel Sys 2 OL
Calc Load(%) 11.3
ECT (F) 113
STFT B1 (%) 0
LTFT B1 (%) -2.3
STFT B2 (%) 0
LTFT B2 (%) -1.5
Engine RPM 1134
Veh Speed (MPH) 0

Did I foul the plugs and the catalytic converter? I've ran it since and I it performs fine with no obvious misfire sounds.

Thx!!

The code will go away eventually by opening up your throttle body and spraying carb cleaner in it you flooded your engine so it will sputter and spit at first and then be OK.

More information please. What year and model, how many miles on it
Give us all the exact fault code numbers.
Other them using too much carb cleaner, Possibly, you should not have any new misfire codes and depending on the cat code, it, more then likely, has nothing to do with the carb spray.
Clear the codes and get back to us.

The computers seem to be sensitive on Rovers. I did the same thing to by Heep and it bucked and misfired like crazy, but I never got a CEL. When I did it to my D2, however...

When I seafoamed and cleaned the induction of my rover, it threw codes like crazy until all the cleaner burned out. I think around 7 codes. I cleared them and they never came back. I did the same thing on a 2002 dodge caravan and didn't get a single code. I think the rover comupters are much more sensitive than some other vehicles, but this is probably a good thing considering the track record of some.
