Good morning, thanks for comments. South of Asheville, across the Sc line in Spartanburg. Milage with the 3500 varied per tank, best mpg was 16.4, worst was 11.1, but mostly hovered in the 14's. (Fuel varied from $3.78 to just over $5 ) My main concern was non typical tire wear but I didn't observe any. In fact I was very impressed with how little wear I've seen overall and no non typical wear. We will be home later today from this trip. For those thinking about flat towing, I would say do it. It's really simple. I'll do a write up with photos when i get back. I noticed you had a white roof after i had painted mine. Makes a difference in the summer.

Yeah, figued it had to be diesel with that fuel economy. I had my 06 LBZ programmed and it woudl pull the boat and get about 18 mpg at 80 mph.

i still have my 07 lbz (mild tune and opened) and pulling an open deck trailer with 5 dual sports out west, we would consistently get 18. One trip (with my son and friends) i had a contest to see who could get the best milage one tank at a time. My son got 21.4 mpg . No cruise control is the key. 72mph with no pedal movement for hills. Just hold steady
