Default Modifications...

I am looking to modify my disco, and I just wanted to see what other people have done to theirs. I bought it about a month ago, and everything except the brush bar, mudflaps, and DVD system is stock, however all were added before I bought it. I know that the first thing I will do is put in an amp and a couple subwoofers. I'm looking to go camping and off-roading quite a bit, but because of school I can wait on those modifications for a while since I won't be able to go during the semester. I know I want a roof rack, and I'm going to take off the mudflaps, but what else would I need? Rock sliders? Protection for the underside of the vehicle? What should I use...brands, etc.

Thanks

Alright go online and look up companies like Qlogic and other companies that may make form fitting subs because those will look the best. If that doesn't work I would look into making or have someone make you a fiberglass box, a litle messy but really not hard at all. If you dont care about looks just make it out of some MDF and carpet/leather/vinyl/stain/paint it.

I dont know what color your rover is but a good paint detailing can do wonders. My favorite look is a brush guard with headlight guards, winch mount, and light mounts. After that you can do roof racks, dog cages, headrest units, luxury mats (I dont like it), and other stuff like that.

Im personally going to keep it simple, basic A-brush guard with lights mounted, making myself a roof rack and possibly a dog cage while Im at it so my dog doesn't keep jumping over the seats to the front. Recently I waxed the paint, repainted the the brush guard, bought new bumper caps, cupholders, rover decal, and a few other odds and ends.

I tell you what, you can put all the bling you want on a truck but nothing looks better than clean wheels, dark blue paint, dark tinted windows, and a bunch of black metal (brush guards, light mounts, light guards, roof rack, dog cage, etc).
