Modifying My Drivers Seat to Go Back Further?
I really enjoy my 2004 Disco but the drivers compartment is a bit tight. I'm 6'4" and my right leg is cramped. This problem is not unique to my Rover but I'm determined to fix it. I have begun my own technique of accomplishing this but I was wondering if anybody else has been there done that? If so, maybe you can give me some ideas or pointers?

Short fit British people? I served over half my life in the U.S. Military and I can tell you for a fact that British chaps come in all shapes and sizes. Most are large and fit not unlike U.S. Soldiers. I believe the drivers compartment of the Disco was developed with women in mind. Anyway, I managed to move the worm drive attachment back 3" and it worked very well. I still could use another 3" for the ultimate comfort. I'm afraid to move the worm drive back any further because I believe it would make the seat unsafe. So, I'm have the entire frame relocated to the rear approx. 2-3" by a machine/mechanic shop. Total cost $150.00. Worth every penny for the comfort! Fortunately my arms are 37+" long. No problem reaching the wheel. I'll reply here after the work is done and let every body know how it went.

I have gotten to a point not where if I drive our Subruban I almost dont like the huge open feeling. The disco seat makes me feel like im in control, not driving a recliner.
So on a side note for all you tall people... Do any of your backs start to hurt on long trips? I never get back pains, ever... expect when im in the disco for a long period of time. Maybe its just me.
