Here's the camera mount. It's meant for CCTV cameras, but you can rotate the screw part of the mount 360*. I used an Olympus 770SW for both stills and video. The road is open to all, no special permits are required (like areas of AZ). The road basically runs from Needles, CA. to Barstow as a point of reference. The Jeep was a slightly lifted Rubicon with bigger than stock tires (?). I never checked and don't know what size tires it normally comes with however. A stock Disco would do ok, except for some rubbing on the bumpers maybe.
The 2 sport bikes were members of AZLRO. One of them owned the silver D1 and the his wife was driving, with the other wife sitting as co-pilot.
