Hey everyone, I have some more questions to try and clear up.
First off I'd like to thank everyone that has helped me on here seeing as I'm a first time disco owner and trying to figure this out on my own.
1. I downloaded the RAVE file but I can't get it to open up, it says it is an iso file and I don't have the right driver for it. Any suggestions?
2. Found the linkage to my cdl and its unhooked, looks like the screw just backed off and it fell off. Where does my shifter need to be before I hook it back up?
3. The prev owner hit something on the freeway and it threw the steering off, when the steering wheel is at 12 o'clock the wheels are about 15 degrees turned to the drivers side, can I fix this my self or is it a shop job?
4. How do I download pics to this site ?
I have some decent experience working on cars and trucks since i have always done most of my own work. I would like to do the same on this disco to keep cost down since I'm on a limited budget and it's the only way I am going to be able to keep it ( my other half is worried its going to be a money pit).

2. no idea, my DII doesn't have a linkage

3. I would take it to a good alignment shop to check if it's out of alignment

4. you can't as far as i know..make an account at photobucket.com or some other picture hosting site and you just post the link to your pics.

 

seems i'm missing a part on the cdl linkage. it has a piece that looks like it fits on a spline that comes out of the shifter box. but there is no piece on the shaft that it can fit on. any ideas anybody? the linkage going down to the diff tightens onto it with a bolt that closes the loop around the shaft. i looked on a diagram on roversnorth.com but it doesnt seem to show the piece i think i need
