I'd probably have given the award to the Izuzu trooper II long before our Disco. Thought I might have given the most over-rated award to the Land Rovers in general lol

Gen 1/2 Mitsubishi Montero's were legit! Sadly you hardly ever see them anymore and when you do you just cry lol. I owned 5 back in the day & they were excellent 4x4's.

The 4th Generation Nissan Patrol was also a pretty exceptional vehicle if you stumbled across one with the limited slip differentials and diesel engine. Longer, lower roof, and not as bulky as the Disco 2.

Anything not Jeep or Toyota really fits under-rated

Rental cars are obviously the most underrated anything lol

on a side note, I can't stand TrailRecon videos....props to them for making a profit off what you like to do but damn they are boring on average. Now I have enjoyed Nate's channel (his disco and doing the ton swap, that swap is way overkill but it's fun to see someone somewhat documenting the process that goes into linking a disco) but he has some serious fab skills and communicates it pretty well.
