Default motor oil question

hi, i have always used walmart fully synthetic 5/30 motor oil and the car has always had a low idle...2 oil changes ago i used a different brand of non synthetic...i didn't notice at first, but the idle seemed much better. I only noticed the difference when i just changed my oil again and used the walmart fully synthetic. as soon as i started the engine i noticed that the idle had gone low again.
does anyone have anything to say about this?
should i just spend the $25 and re-do the oil with brand name non synthetic?
thanks for any input

Switch to a heavier oil. Rotella seems to be the most popular here. I've run the 5W-40 T6 full-synthetic with great results.

Rotella also comes in non-synthetic labeled as T5.

T5 is a 10w30 syn blend. I'm not exactly sure how oil is going to affect idle. Also I would not use an energy conserving oil in these engines.

Motor oil will have no effect on your idle speed.
For your climate use Rotella 15w-40 year around.

Mobil Delvac 1 5W-40 ESP or Delvac 1300 15W-40 is also a great option

Could too light of an oil give the perception of low idle?
