I found a good deal on "remanufactured" cylinder heads from motorcarsltd.com . They're selling for the same price as normal used heads.

Does anybody have any experience with this company or their reputation?

 

The company is good, I have delt with them in the past, how much are they quoting you and why are you replacing your heads?

 

Exhaust valve seat fell out. Wedged the valve open. Piston hit valve.

They quoted $200 for a "reman" head. ($300 w/ -$100 upon shipment of core)

A local shop quoted me $140 for a valve job, if the head was even reusable.

 

At your mileage, you shouldn't need a valve job, maybe a resurface would be all.
