Default Multiple misfire help?? 2000 discovery II

Hey everyone, ive been searching this forum for a while but i haven't posted before. I'm in need of some serious help. My land rover has been misfiring on 4 cylinders!! i went to the mechanic to get my codes read and he told me cylinders 1,3,5 and 7 are misfiring make my car non operable. I suspect the coil packs may be the culprit because i just changed my spark plugs and spark plug wires. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

possible wrong gaps on the plugs and the wires not put in all the way. or you put the wires in the wrong order.but yes coils do go out. and 1 3 5 7 thats the whole right bank1 seems like you probably didnt clip the coil in all the way or didnt put the ground trap on

I think he meant ground strap...coil pack ground or coil pack itself would be my best guess for the issue

Is your DII using anti-freeze or leaking. Probably your intake manifold tray gasket is not sealing and thus, it is running a very lean mixture. I have seen the bolts that hold the intake down so loose that you could back them off by hand. After you are done checking the electrics, look atr a vacuum leak at the base of the intake.

I have seen this on other forums recently and still have not come back with a good fix for the problem and it can happen on bank 1 or 2. I will tell you though, it is not of the above mentioned suggestions.

No it is not o2 sensor related. Think about it you have one whole bank going out. You have 2 coils one coil works cylinders on both banks so it cant be a coil. There is a grounding point on the fire wall drivers side to the head. Just take a wire off while running and see if you see spark. Take a plug ouy and see if its the right gap. Make sure the injectors are plugged in. there is another ground for the injectors on the injector rails to intake manifold. Stick to basics and youll find your problem . Misfire either going to be fuel or spark related dont over think it
