Must have broken something while installing water pump

Its the timing cover gasket leaking. Was probably leaking before you took the water pump off.

The leak I saw was from the water pump directly but it was a couple table spoons per heat/cool cycle so it would have been hard to see if the source was both. This leak is more substantial and consistent; especially considering its a constant drip even before pressurizing the system. Maybe by removing and installing the new water pump made it angry.

I guess my plan of attack is to first reinstall the 3 long bolts with silicone and see if it slows/stops then clean it up. If it's still leaking behind but not at the water pump it will be easier to see now. If that's the case I'll have to attack the timing cover. If it is the timing cover do I have to worry about getting coolant in the oil over a short drive?
