I definitely will. I didn't make it back this week, I got way too busy. If I can I'll definitely let you know.

She had her maiden voyage today in N. GA. I took the whole family along and the Disco didn't miss a beat. Can't wait to explore her limits soon!

Great photos. Nice looking family. Looks like they done a good amount of logging in that area.

Glad the Discovery didn't give you any issues.

Brian.

Looks good! Did you find any obstacles that the jeeps took but gave the rover trouble?

Thanks! Nothing really, other than my narrow 235's were falling into the ruts that the Jeeps were otherwise driving through as the XJ was on 12.50's and the JK was on 13.50's. For it being my first time off road I was impressed with both the truck and myself, really. I got freaked out when I slid into one and we hit pretty hard on our side but I was able to back out of it and go another way. But we really didn't go over anything super challenging as it was my first time off-roading.

How did you find the experience with a lack of a centre diff lock?

I've never driven with one, so nothing to compare it to. We didn't do anything crazy, really, so I wouldn't have know the difference methinks.

But once you drive with one it's immediately obvious that there is a HUGE difference on any loose surface. I was astounded at how much more alive mine felt with the CDL engaged even on a small sandy playaround area.
