My 3500.00 DI and a question
I've talked to Mike quite a bit and have been sorting out all the little bugs this poor thing has as a result of being neglected. It's coming along well. Just hit 104K and am waiting on my O2 sensors and hope to buy new cats and get it back to 100%.
I have a couple Q's.
1) I looked around and can't find somewhere I can get a vaccum line kit to replace everything under the hood. Seems I have to buy it all seperately. Is that true? I ask because I don't really know all the part names, but can look and tell where they go (if that makes sense). I want to do all the main vaccum lines under the hood - many are soft and Mike tells me they are likely collapsing under load.
2) Rain = wet drivers floor. No leadliner water so I assume the W/S seal is leaking. also seen someone post about a hole in the firewall. Any other ideas?
3) Would it be a reasonable idea to replace the main sensors? Like the crank, knock etc? I hate replacing things one at a time and finding out pretty much everything needs it!
Anyway - heres a pic or two. For 3500 bucks I'm not griping that I have to do some wrenching. I love working on cars, and this one aside from price for parts isn't so bad.
Oh last question... is a little more rugged tire a decent option? I do plan on getting dirty once in a while!

To post pics, on Photobucket under your pic is a direct link thingy, click on it. Then copy it. On the forum click on the mountain looking thing on the post, delete the http in the line and paste your link, hit ok, you are done.
