Did some search and it seems Michelin has discontinued my long time runing favorite XPC 4X4 255/65R16, which were the superior OEM tires compared to the other inferior OEM tires (Warangler HP). Tire Rack used to carry them until now. Those are the ones I would recommend. Too bad. [sm=smiley24.gif]

I have Yokohama Geolanders on both my Disco and Chevy truck. The set on my Disco has 30k and they look like they could go that again. They wear evenlyand are quiet. They are rated well on tirerack

Make sure the tire shop you pick knows the correct tire pressures for a Discovery, the back tires get about 10 psi more then the front!

 

I reccommend the cooper ATR'S. I just picked up a set in 245/75/16, with a buy 3 get 1 free deal. Wound up costing me about 350 mounted and balanced, and with roadhazard.
