Default my first post. 2000 discovery 2

Had my 2000 discovery 2 for a few weeks now and I have the 3 amigos , I tried the fix but I cant get the ohms right so i am ebaying a new abs shuttle valves... Have a REAL leak from the front main seal that I will be replacing this week a few small leaks from the valve covers and oil pan. no biggie .. will fix them on the week ends to come. Really love this forum... tons of knowledge... I have a long list of minor things that need to be fixed but in my mind that's a good thing I love tweeking and fixing stuff. after all the little issues like power windows and the radio I want to upgrade to the Old man Emu shocks, ABR Bumper, wheels, tires, winch,snorkel...the list goes on...

as of now she has 178,000 miles ... looking to put on another 200k
runs strong and shifts great !

welcome to the forum, just remember function before looks. if you plan on going off-road get a transfer case with CDL in it. for the price of a new abs modulator you could get lockers front and rear and not worry about losing traction control. order the kit from falconworks and do josh from the USVI Land Rover Club's fix and you will be fine.

I found the modulator shuttle valve thingy mcbob for the Abs for 75 bucks... I figured i would give that a go first. If that is not the fix I will look into your tips.

I also need a ignition .. not the switch just the guts.. and I guess a new key to go with it.. right now it will start with a screwdriver

Ahh the list just keeps on growing but hey its fun to turn wrenches
